Cataracts – 白內障

A cataract means that the natural lens in the eye is becoming cloudy. Cataracts occur more commonly as one gets older.

Diabetic Eye Disease – 糖尿病眼疾

Fine blood vessels at the back of the eye may be damaged as a result of diabetes causing bleeding, this results in blurred vision.

Flashes and Floaters – 閃光和飛蚊症

Conditions

Sudden onset of floaters or the presence of flashes of light may be a symptom of something more serious.

Fuchs’ Endothelial Dystrophy – 福氏角膜內皮營養不良症

Conditions

Fuchs’ endothelial dystrophy (FED) is a relatively common eye condition that affects the deepest layer of the cornea (endothelium).

Glaucoma – 青光眼

Glaucoma is a disease which damages the optic nerve. Untreated, Glaucoma can slowly and painlessly take away vision causing blindness.

Keratoconus – 圓錐角膜

Keratoconus is an eye condition in which the normal, round-shaped cornea becomes thin and bulges outward to form a cone shape.

Macular Degeneration – 黃斑病變

Conditions

The macula is the central part of the retina which is highly adapted for reading and seeing fine detail. As such, it is subject to degenerative changes.

Narrow angles – 眼前房狹窄

Conditions

Sometimes a situation can occur where the drainage angle is narrow and the patient is at risk of developing a very high pressure quite suddenly.

OSSN – 眼皮鱗狀細胞瘤

Ocular surface squamous neoplasia (OSSN) is a broad term, which denotes a spectrum of malignancy arising from the surface layer of the eye.

Painful or irritated eyes – 眼睛疼痛或痕癢
